Qui som?
L’Associació AMISOL és una entitat privada, sense ànim de lucre, que va néixer l’any 1976 per la iniciativa d’un grup de solsonins membres de Càritas i de famílies afectades, que veieren la necessitat de crear recursos per al col·lectiu de persones amb discapacitat residents a la comarca, que fins aleshores s’havien de traslladar fora per ser ateses.
La missió de l’entitat és l’atenció pedagògica i social de les persones amb discapacitats psíquiques que els impossibiliten l’aprenentatge i l'adaptació al ritme de les persones normalment constituïdes, per tal d’arribar al seu màxim desenvolupament humà i integració a la societat.
Els objectius, establerts en els estatuts, fan referència a tot allò que requereixin les persones amb discapacitat i les seves famílies: creació i gestió de centres i serveis, millora de la qualitat de vida, orientació, suport, formació, recursos, reivindicacions o altres necessitats que puguin sorgir.
Who are we?
The AMISOL association is a private, not for profit organization, created in 1976 through the initiative of a group of Solsona's Caritas members and affected families, who recognised the need for collective resources for disabled people living in the region, which until then had not been addressed.
The mission of the organization is the educational and social care for people with mental disabilities that hinder learning, helping them adapt to the pace of normal day to day life and allowing them to reach their full potential and better integrate with society.
The objectives laid down in the statutes refer to anything relating to people with disabilities and their families: creation and management of centres and services, improved quality of life, guidance, support, training, resources, claims and any other needs that may arise.
